Wondering if Vaz will be in the Houston lineup. That'll be weird....
Just hope Tommy Pham gets lost on the way to Sox lineup

Last night's game was fun, setting aside the gruesome plays by Arroyo and X. It was particularly fun to give the lie to the nonsense spouted by ESPN.
Do it again, please.
TIA, ITP.

Oh, Cordero is awful, but 1) he wasn't assessed an error, whatever that's worth and 2) his awfulness didn't lead to a run. He is currently my least favorite RS player, didn't mean to leave him out.

These Zoom interviews are the fucking worst. You'd think by now they could figure out angles , lighting, etc.

One thing was pretty clear in that interview. Bloom believes this team can make the playoffs and wanted to give them the opportunity.
Maybe. But it also could be true that he grossly overestimated today's market and stood pat instead of trading guys for a laughable return and is just positioning it that he's giving the team a chance to compete this year. (I'm non-emotional about it; I'm just making a point.)

Could be. But Id prefer that than giving in to laughable returns just because.

Crawford....the future starts now.

But why would he trade Vasquez? How many WS winning teams or playoff teams for that matter trade their only proven catcher at the deadline?

I am surprised to see Verdugo in RF, as he has expressed a comfort with LF. Or is that only in Fenway?
JDM needs to hit the cover off the ball, to show every GM who didn't want him that they should have. (So disappointed he's not gone.)
