Happy to say I missed most of last night's game. but clearly Cleveland veterans had a lot of pent-up frustration about their recent history in Yankee Stadium to get out. In 2017, NY won both ALDS games in NY and then stole game 5 in CLE to knock out what looked like the best team that season. In 2018, CLE got to NY having not had an off day in three weeks and having played a 20 inning doubleheader the day before (and a 12 inning game two days before that). Their bullpen was burnt and NY took advantage of that and swept them, so CLE hadn't won here since Aug 2017, but they made up for that.

Tonight we will see the latest young unheralded pitcher who CLE has brought up and who has instantly been great, Aaron Civale, 18 innings in his first 3 starts and just 9 hits and 2 ERs allowed.

The just picked up Ryan Dull is the move for Chance Adams, he’ll be gone in a day or two.

After last night's pummeling, better pitching would be greatly appreciated. If Tanaka can do it against Toronto's up and coming young fearless hitters then he can do it against CLE.

Tauchman would have leaped into the stands to catch Ramirez’s first row homer. Judge tried but he’s no Tauchman. Who is?

Puig styles a routine fly ball catch, then fails to catch Gio’s one-hopper, allowing Judge to score easily.

Tanaka through 6 at 75 pitches.

Kahnle is pretty far up NY's MVP pitching list this season, amazing he was stuck in AAA at this time last year.
