Right now he certainly is.Yoshida is an underwhelming player
You already know the answer. It is the same reason there are commercials during the game. Baseball exists because of the commercials. It’s easy to think it is the other way around. But it isn’t.I am sad not to see Whitlock. I tried, but there seems no way to get into Peacock other than coughing up six bucks and giving info. Why is mlb choosing to have fewer fans watch the game? They must be getting a boatload of money from NBC.
I want to go back in time and bring this team to Seattle last week. The multi-inning weapon that is Garrett Whitlock is back, and he's BACK BIG!
That Schreiber game dogs my soul, too.I want to go back in time and bring this team to Seattle last week.
That's cool. Can they beat out Seattle & Toronto by a few games in the remaining ~45 games? Good luck! This team can beat any AL team in a Best of 5.
He has the same # of doubles as Devers. He got a hit yesterday when lots of other guys on the team did nothing. You guys (not you, strek1) are quick to give up on a player who's been wonderful his first year in the states.Right now he certainly is.
Toronto could be swept at home by the Cubs. That helps. Not many guys on that team having a great season. Seattle is probably the tougher competition the rest of the way for that spot. That's cool. Can they beat out Seattle & Toronto by a few games in the remaining ~45 games? Good luck!
The good news is that Seattle, Houston and Texas play each other a billion times in the next month and a half. If the Sox take care of their own business, they have as good a shot as anyone.Toronto could be swept at home by the Cubs. That helps. Not many guys on that team having a great season. Yeah. I can’t remember a team ever losing a 2-3 game lead in mid-August. It would take unimaginable luckThat's cool. Can they beat out Seattle & Toronto by a few games in the remaining ~45 games? Good luck!
I read a piece (Glob, I think) discussing how the travel (distance and time zones) and schedule (no regular Mondays off) are a bigger adjustment for him than the game itself.Right now he certainly is.
And that's with 3 games against the Nats coming up.Remaining opponent win % .535. Wow.
Can they sweep a bad team? Hold their own against Houston / Dodgers? Need a lot to go right.Yeah. I can’t remember a team ever losing a 2-3 game lead in mid-August. It would take unimaginable luck
Hell of a tag by Urias too.Jeterian play by Story. Legend.
