I am enjoying starting these threads and I am looking for Porcello and the offense to keep me in business.

Red Sox offense...score early, score often. Let's keep rolling with #3 in a row!

Imagine the reactions in the clubhouse this morning when they see that lineup.
Devers has been looking like he needs a day off. Benintendi has sat against some lefties ... I'd imagine the clubhouse didn't have much of a reaction

If the Mets can drag themselves back into contention by curb stomping bad teams, so can the Defending World Champion Boston Red Sox.

Bradley and Leon are hitting .115 and .133 this month. Putting them back to back in the lineup is criminal.
Bradley has a career OPS of .772 vs Anaheim and Leon is .952. One of them is going to do something good today.

I can't wait for the Porcello era to end. We probably got our money's worth out of him in two years, but I'm ready for something new.

Porcello is only 30. He probably cost himself a 3-4 year deal with his performance this season. Might have to settle for 1 year and a team option sometime in March.

I’m gonna zag...
I’m at the point where I can’t believe, and am just grateful, that these pitchers had their shit together last October to pull out the Championship.

I want to believe. I really do. Last night I couldn't stomach it. My goal today was to hang in till I couldn't stand it any more.

They are making it really hard.

Porcello's pitches have a lot of movement on them the last two innings, though.

Mookie versus lefties has maybe been the story of the year at least for the offense, and the NESN booth took until game 119 to note it.
