The Celtics are showing this year that post worries aren’t a legitimate reason not to go small. There are lots of ways to counter post dominance if you have speed, strength, and smart defensive players.
Philly seems moderately fucked to me, as currently constructed. Simmons+Embiid (although a MUCH more talented pairing) reminds me a lot of Utah wasting years trying to make Favors+Gobert work, when there just really wasn’t a way to mesh them.
I'm not saying that it's definitely an easy fix, but I'm not sure that it isn't either.
