100%. Especially went it went 2-0.Devers run meant nothing ... you walk him and set up force plays.
Cora gets shit for his moved, but that was dumb on Servais's part ... thank goodness
No idea why you would pitch to him. But thanks.Devers run meant nothing ... you walk him and set up force plays.

In a lot of ways, I feel like this would have been an extraordinary game to watch in September. All I really want each season is to see as many meaningful games as possible, and by the time September comes around, you have already seen almost a full season of important and meaningful games, so while losing sucks, you have at least had a lot more to appreciate.Whoo yeah. That was a remarkably unpleasant win to watch.
Handedness, I guess. No idea why you would pitch to him. But thanks.
Yes. My 2nd favorite team is far, far behind the Red Sox on my "cheering to win" metric.Even against your 2nd favorite team?

If a pitcher is removed from a game due to injury, his replacement can take longer to warm up than a usual reliever.Had to take shelter due to a Tornado warning in Omaha NE. What did I miss?
Agreed. Can't believe they pitched to him. I felt exactly the same way when Cora let Slaten start his career by pitching to J-Rod in game 3 of the season with a base empty. I guess it's just payback.Devers run meant nothing ... you walk him and set up force plays.

Given that I'm on year 42 of my Rumspringa, I can't get too mad.@DennyDoyle'sBoil was the victim of Amish shaming
I like you too so I'll make sure it gets the consideration it deserves.Hey! Devers!
I don't understand this reference. I usually don't admit that, but I like you and I'm feeling feisty and trying to care less what people think.
And if this is a slur about the fact that I'm Amish, I'm reporting you to a mod.
All the time he requires, to be exactIf a pitcher is removed from a game due to injury, his replacement can take longer to warm up than a usual reliever.
Too soon.Yes. There have been instances of catchers intentionally bumping into batters on pop-ups near the plate, just to get the interference call. The fielder has a right to make a play on the ball, even if it is in or takes him into the basepath of the runner.
Maybe this will make him feel better.@DennyDoyle'sBoil was the victim of Amish shaming
"I'm going on TV? What's a TV?"I did not have Zack Kelly getting a postgame interview on my bingo card!
You're nothing if not fair, I'll give you that, English.I like you too so I'll make sure it gets the consideration it deserves.
Servais didn’t have time to warm up his brain.LOVE the win!! But why pitch to Devers?
That was my thought, exactly, to no one's surprise.Would have been nice to have Masa up in that spot.
But the funny thing is that in the after-game interview, you can see he does have a moustache or something like that above his mouth, so he's only "Amish" b/c his attempt to grow that thing is so feeble. Still, appreciate his not giving anything up to the visitors.@DennyDoyle'sBoil was the victim of Amish shaming
he’s a good pitcher with big guts. I think he’s been overworked to his detriment but I get it’s part of the JD sometimesI’ve been hard on Kelly, but it gives me a warm feeling to see him enjoying a bit of redemption in this NESN interview.
