Yes, the bullpen gave up the lead, but bigger slices of blame pie go to poor starting pitching and poor situational hitting.

God I hate Tampa. The low budget plucky underdogs who fight tooth and nail against the big market meanies before being swept aside in October, if they make it that far, by real contenders. Fire that franchise, that ballpark, and their two fans directly into the sun.

The offense squandered, but they should’ve never been in that position. Loss is on Price and middle relief.

the Red Sox went 29-25 in the first 54 games, including that 6-13 start to the season.

they only improved that mark by one measly game in the next 54, at 30-24.

Sometimes it’s the starter, sometimes it’s the bullpen, sometimes it’s the offense, and sometimes it’s the whole damn team. That’s the shit that happens when you play 162.
