Would have been nice to unleash Morton against the Mfy. He will be tough for us.

That's about a decade's worth? Tampa have been competitive for most of that decade.

He's been starting slow all year. ERA is 5.30 in the first inning, 4.67 in the 2nd, and is pretty solid from there.

Maybe reason for a "starter/opener"? I'm joking... but 25 pitches to get through a fucking inning is how to kill this bullpen
Well the implication is that he gets more efficient from there, but yeah, he's averaging right around 5 innings per start, which isn't great. IMO openers are just rearranging the deck chairs.
