Luis Basabe with a bizarre boxscore line in Lowell - 0 ABs, 2 runs scored, 5 walks. Time to put this guy on the prospect radar. Only 18, he's getting it done as a lead off hitter in A ball, and also has an OPS well over .800 with home run power. He's also got speed and reportly is pretty good defensively.

Owens' walk rate has been really good lately. He's fixed one of the major flaws in his game. Bring him up and let him pitch now.

@brianmacp: Farrell: Big-league starts for Brian Johnson, Henry Owens are "on the horizon."

Probably after Yanks series.

AXB was Devers' table-setter in the DSL last season, and seems to be the Xander to his brother Luis Alejandro's Jair.

Nice to see his plate discipline continue in Lowell this summer.

He's got a bit of a 3-true-outcomes approach with a 25% K rate, 12% BB rate and .216 ISO, but seems like he has the tools to improve that contact rate and any kid at 18 displaying that kind of slugging ability is worth paying attention to.
