Can't get Tauchman out of the lineup, he starts over Maybin against the lefty:

Hicks 8
Judge 9
Encarnacion DH
Voit 3
Gregorius 6
Torres 4
Urshela 5
Tauchman 7
Higashioka 2

this is another brand new ump, hence the random calls...just get used to it....they are being no more selective about qualifing these jokers than they have been in the past...the entire system remains broken...they had their chance when they broke the union before, but just started over with the same dumbass regime

IF he was safe, it was by an absolute hair. You can't overturn that unless its conclusively wrong. The replays I watched on two feeds were not. Unless you're wearing rose colored glasses.
He was safe. The replay system is flawed enough where you can call him out. I may have misread your post as saying he was out, which he clearly wasn’t.

After all the putrid pitching lately, I would not have picked CC to be the one to settle things down a bit. That is good.

He wasn't clearly safe. You're being biased. But there's no reason to argue this.

We both are. But I’ll let it rest. Your thread
I think I'm being reasonable. The play was inconclusive from a bunch of different angles, the umpire saw it as out, and so did the replay system. If you want to argue based on a sideways angle of his hand possibly swiping the back of the bag, go ahead. I don't see how you can prove his hand was actually on the bag before the glove touched. Is is possible, very much so. Did any replay show that? nope.

Merloni on Sox radio predicted the call would be out.

I forgot how annoying and dumb Smoltz is. Who thought Martinez's home runs would go down in the bandbox that is Fenway?

Hey, a break! EE hits a 370-foot fly to leftcenter that scapes the ping pong wall. Out everywhere else in baseball, as we all frigging know. Hicks scored because the carom eluded Benny.

sorry the only ballpark anomaly that can be complained about is a certain short porch...everything else is sheer reasonable perfection

Green warming as CC faces Devers, which was the main reason Boone left CC in. Devers is the best fastball hitter in MLB.
