Another game that I was unable to watch (why are there so many birthdays in July in Texas?!?!? I grew up in NH and VT and I was the only July birthday for miles... everyone was from November through March. It's like a never-ending parade of birthday parties to go to since July 1st). But hey... another night of checking the score on my phone and being in a great mood. Scoring lots of runs early is wonderful. A true thing of beauty. I don't know what's up with the weather here lately also... I mean, yeah, it's still hot- 91 yesterday and most of the week has been around that, with the evenings getting to be around 77. Just magical! We all need beauty, magic and joy in our lives. What could be more joyous than another fucking crushing defeat of those Asshats and Fucksticks? There's not much.... just fucking destroy them... early. Put a soul crushing defeat on them. Make us smile with delight!

I’m nervous the fat man tosses a bunch of 87 mph junk and pitches like 7/1/3.

Light him up instead. Please.

Same Red Sox lineup as last night.

Betts 9
Devers 5
Bogaerts 6
Martinez DH
Vazquez 2
Benintendi 7
Travis 3
Chavis 4
JBJ 8
ERod 1
Interestingly, every single player except Martinez is a product of the Red Sox farm system. But in any case, the Sox about to sweep these assholes.

Game begins at 4:05.
Selfishly, I wish it began at 1:00, because it's too hot to garden now and I wanted to go out again and pick blueberries around six. But I expect I won't want to leave the tv. Actually, 1:00 would be better for the Sox, too, as I can see the "portly" Sabbathia becoming a puddle by the third inning.
See you later!

Ump kinda course corrected midway through that inning and started giving CC the edge of the plate. Let’s see if he gives it to Eddie.

EdRo gets squeezed on a great changeup, then gives up a homer

Balls are juiced

It's gutsy to throw a changeup behind like that. But damn it was a meatball.

Every time I'm forced to listen to YES I start thinking that O'Brien isn't so bad.
