Well, Wednesday comes around and damned if we don't feel a little better than we did a couple days ago. Let's win again and dust off that 3-in-a-row feeling.

No one would try to run with JBJ's arm behind the plate

Watching Price is like watching something not exciting.
It's like watching the station attendant fill your gas tank. You know it has to get done. You hope it's done properly. But it just feels like wasted minutes of your life while you sit and watch

Nice three-pitch K to end the first, which looked like it was going to get tiresome with the walk.

You are either old (like me) or you live in New Jersey.

This is a good description, thanks!

He's a top-10 player instead of top-2. That's not depressing.
Porcello's off years? That's depressing.
I thought we had a superstar on our hands, part of which would be more consistency. He’s hitting .066 off last year, granted a year for the ages. Actually, a recent surge brought it down from what had been .07 to .08 off last year for most of June- July. Also, a lot of his WAR comes from baserunning and D, which can’t be sensational forever.
