Hey, everybody, it's Tuesday. Things are not exactly fine, but they seem a bit better after last night. So let's do that shit again, and feel even better tomorrow.

Marco is another guy, like Brock Holt, with a good platoon split (small sample size of course). Cora should keep the better players on the big club. Again, does he look at stats? As for 1B depth, Brock can play there.
You realize Cora doesn't make these decisions by himself ... right/

Yeah, but Holt hates first base.

I dunno. In the game where he was going to be mic’d up but then he wasn’t in the lineup they had a clip of him yelling about how he hated first base as he went in to play first. Or something like that—it had me thinking about how confident he must now be in his role in the team to diss an assignment.

I tried to find video but I came up empty.

I remember that. He was talking to whoever was on first in the 12 inning loss to the Dodgers. He said it in a joking way but he probably doesn’t say anything of the sort unless he doesn’t dislike it to some degree

I'll vouch for this - Holt was mic'ed up in one of the Dodgers games last week saying he hated first base. It was good natured, but he said it.

This is a big game. Against a team we're battling for a post season spot, coming off a win, getting Moreland back off the IL, and Sale on the mound. Let's get a win.

Yes. It will be nice to see two good Sale starts in a row and two good games from the Red Sox in a row.

Don’t like so many lefties in a row, specially in the form Tampa uses its pitchers.

I’m sick of hearing about Trout.

Yes. He’s very good at baseball. Got it.

This Rays lineup is, I dunno, anonymous? Not terrible but I'm having a hard time accepting that we are behind this team in the standings.
They're missing some guys (Lowe, Kiermaier, Yandy Diaz). But yeah, it's never been a scary looking lineup. At least not compared to other teams like Houston and NY.
