Franchy fouling off that 1-2 pitch is honestly such a huge development for him. That was exactly the pitch he would wildly swing and miss on with two strikes last season.

Vaz wasn’t seeing him well. He usually swings at everything, yet took all 6 pitches in that at bat

I know this is all perception and a reaction to today and the games in Toronto, but why does it seem to me that nearly every team in MLB brings in reliever after reliever who throws 98 on the black, and the Red Sox bring in ... Hansel Robles? Frustrating as hell.

I don't know why, but they have no longer been showing it on the regular feed. Only on replays.
It’s probably to keep the umps from looking bad in front of a large audience. Wonder if it’s something their union negotiates for in contracts.

Robles can throw 98. Doesn't seem to do him very good.
