Booser! So happy to have gotten out of The Chi with some semblance of dignity.

We are a .500 team again!

I thought the Cuban sandwich would be the highlight of the day. But seeing the Blizzard hit a homer is hard to top.
I think I will have to watch Sox in Two if it's available. Or YouTube. The game seemed to go better when I left the telly, so I did throughout the late innings.
I know the Sox at present are "mediocre," but they are horribly depleted, so .500 seems OK right now.

Given the AAA lineup, the opener and Jansen going 2, this is a really good win.
Feels like a different kind of .500.

That was a fun game. These kids kept going.
They might be quite good in some time. Those who want to continue to blather about mediocrity, whatever floats your boat.

I totally agree. The nightmare-ish 4th gave some flashbacks, but they bounced right back from that instead of spiraling.

I do have to say that watching Duran's triple live was an amazing visual of his speed. He is ridiculously fast.

They need to sign Fried or Burnes this winter, but yes there is hope. There is a good chance of a 2/3rds+, homegrown, top 10 in mlb lineup by 2026.

big win for the Red Sox to avoid a series loss to the White Sox but even importantly to move to 33-33 after previously being 32-32, 31-31, 30-30, 29-29, 28-28, 27-27, and 26-26

I would gladly, happily take being 36-36 a week from now, but with 6 straight against the Phillies and Yankees I fear we will be quite a bit worse than that.

2-4 would be fine with the current lineup against MLB iron. Id also be pleasantly surprised if they can do it.

I was at this one, too.

YES. I was sitting in the first row behind third, and it was really something. Also watching him charge us to cut off a flare down the line on the White Sox' fourth run. The tools are loud.
