4:10 game today on FS1. Coup is probably passed out in New Hampshire somewhere, overdosed on maple syrup. So I will take his place. This is risky business but time is growing short.
CC goes for 250th career win in Cleveland, his old stomping grounds. That would be fitting.
Torres should return after two days off to rest a sore left shoulder. Probably at second base unless Didi is sore today following his first game of the season.
Bullpen is rested.

The parades are fun, even for a straight guy like me. There's an "everyone is welcome" feeling that you don't really get anywhere else. Sorry that you have't been. Thanks for being part of making progress happen, and improving the world, at SW.

I think the original sorry was more “sorry you were persecuted and beaten on by cops just for being yourself” but maybe I’m just being overly charitable.

Meanwhile, the Indians are pounding the Yankees, 7-2. So we are switching over to this thread to change the karma. Call this the Stonewall Riots thread.
Didi reaches on an error to start things off.

Morales make his usual out. Trots to first. Lindor took three seconds to check Torres at third before lobbing over to first.

LOL actually neither evening did the cops beat on anyone really, we outnumbered them...a lot and that was the point of it...after the initial stupid typical harassing inside the bar, it was the cops who were afraid all weekend.

The Yankees have literally four guys in Scranton who are more deserving of ABs than Morales, and I’m only counting the guys who can play 1B.

Probably Green, then Cortes, then broom pix from Indians fans.

Winning is easy. Losing is hard. The same guys who were providing timely hits are now quiet outs. Confidence wanes. The most revealing moment today was Gardner slamming a batting helmet off the dugout wall into his face.

Also Cashman lost the killer instinct a bit this week, Morales and Cessa really shouldn't be on this roster any more and I said that coming into this series.

Sounds like I didn't miss much.

Tough stretch. It happens. I won't mind seeing less media chatter about the 'challenges' of integrating guys like Stanton, Judge, Betances and Severino back onto the active roster over the next month or so. I know I'm a little less worried about it now. :eyeroll:

So I guess we managed to burn through Coup and Terry in one game today? Back to our stopper @crow216 tomorrow?
