I try to check my bias and know that sometimes you can be sensitive when your team is playing but it is impossible to not feel like the announcers are openly rooting for the Islanders. You’d think they were Gods gift to hockey the way they talk about their players

Every hit by them is "punishing".

California. Duh.
Outplayed most of the period, but didn't give one up and really should be ahead. Just clean up the clearances and put these fuckers down.

I mean, every beer league guy right now is calling him a bum and telling their buddy that they'd bury that. And they would. Wow.
No they wouldn't

Edit: he obviously should have scored that, but hammering one-timers is one of his greatest strengths and he just missed.
99% of the people on the board would have whiffed on the pass if they were even ready for it.

I can’t believe Pasta missed that open net. Bruins weathered the storm there. Good period.

Their goalie is like a rebound practice machine. Every touch should be thrown at the net.

Also, my hatred for this team went from zero to very very high really fast.

Probably the worst miss I’ve ever seen. Daugavins wherever he is saw that and said wow even I would have put that in.

There are definitely worse misses, but that was bad, yes.
What takes it to the next level was the insane amount of time he had in addition to the net being wide open.

He probably didn't know no one was behind him, but he could have just glided the net and placed it in.
