Leave them to their soccer and cricket. Let’s try this again in, say, about 40 years. But there is still an opportunity here for Eduardo to make it all pretty much OK. OK?
Bizarre start time, 7 a.m. Pacific.

Eh, screw you guys. Getting to see the Sox in my backyard is magical. Screw the Yankees more, though. LGRS.

No Sox lineup yet. But Cora said Bogaerts should be ready to go. No Benintendi, who is having leg issues. Sam Travis will start in LF. Holt is still limited.

I'm going to enjoy watching today's game without melting into my seat this time. It was friggin' hot yesterday, there was almost no wind movement at all in the stands. Should be about 20 degrees cooler today.

Also, scoring more runs than the Yankees would be a welcome change as well.

The bottom of the lineup evokes a sigh. Yesterday's starting lineup was mighty nice.
Oh, well, expect nothing.
Be pleasantly surprised?
Spouse remarks that ESPN typically doesn't even comment on injuries to BROCKHOLT and 10D, just announces that X is in the lineup. They are only interested in "stars."

And yet they just spent 5 minutes talking about Sabathia’s thoughts on pretty much every facet of baseball and life.

Hmmm, so they don’t change their dress, huh? I think that’d be boring. Eduardo F’ing Rodriguez so far!
I just think the Sox home whites are one of the best unis in sports.

At least do only the blues. The red looks almost orange

The most frustrating athletes are the ones who seem to have great physical abilities that they can’t coral
