Ump just couldn't pull the trigger on that low "strike" one more time, bastard.

One wonders if those unfamiliar with the game are wondering if it’s normal strategy to play all your bad players later in the game.
“Maybe they try to tire out the hitters by using their crappy pitchers first...”

What's the all-time MLB won-loss record for a team that has two 6-run innings?

I actually expected a more embarrassing outcome. I missed a lot of the game, but now I'm worrying about the guys' legs. I wonder if they hydrated enough in the odd English heat.

Best thing for tomorrow to end the series is to have the Sox win, both teams take one game, everybody’s happy. (Not here, of course, but in MLB Corp.)

And to cap off the shit sandwich Fox interviews Gardner.
Good thing Fox brought their special camera with the super wide lens so they could fit that bulbous dome into the shot.

Wow, the gashouse gorillas put a 17 spot up, what a shocker, never saw that coming.

Good Lord do I despise that fucking team with every ounce of my being.

Am I the only one shocked that no one has blamed starting the game thread too early for this disaster?

I flew to Madrid yesterday and had a 3-hour layover in Heathrow. Can confirm that Sox gear was predominant, maybe 2 to 1.

Only caught a few moments of the game. How much of the freak score was due to the bizarre ballpark configuration?
