Jose Gonzalez gave up three runs (two earned) on six hits, a walk, and a hit by pitch over five frames; striking out two. Nick Duron gave up a single and a walk while getting two outs – one by K – in his first rehab appearance. Both runners came in to score as Jose "Broken Down Mercedes" Bens made his professional debut a memorable one by walking all three batters he faced. Luis Rivero came in and quelled the threat with a fly out, then went three more scoreless innings, relinquishing one hit and whiffing a trio.

[As an aside, Nick Duron has pitched in seven games this season. He now has a record of 0-6.]

Juan Carlos Abreu chipped a single, stole a base, and walked twice in five jaunts. Chad Hardy hit a single and was hit by a pitch in four contests. Brandon Howlett hammered a double and drew a base on balls in four forays. Ricardo Cubillan ripped a single and earned a free pass in five ventures. Nick Northcut and Freiberg Marin each notched one single in four matchups. Elih Marrero singled once in five excursions. Ivan Houellemont and Lane Milligan each managed a walk in four trips; Milligan was caught stealing.

Brayan Bello allowed one run on four hits over five frames; striking out two. Johan Martinez yielded two runs on two hits and three walks in the sixth; whiffing a pair and uncorking a wild pitch. Alejandro Crisostomo was clubbed for five runs on four hits, three walks, and a wild pitch over 1 2/3 innings; whiffing one. Ronald Gutierrez came in with the bases juiced and gave up a single, a walk, and a hit by pitch before getting the final out of the eighth (and leaving the bases full of his own runners.) Erison Medina surrendered two runs on a walk, a wild pitch, and a Ronaldo Paulino round tripper in his professional debut; striking out one in the ninth.

Angel Maita singled four times in five appearances and was caught stealing once. Ronaldo Pulgar poked two singles in four at-bats. Nelfy Abreu, Kleiber Rodriguez, and Luis Hernandez each notched two singles in five treks. Gabriel Quintero contributed a single, a walk, and a hit by pitch in five contests; he was also picked-off/caught stealing. Angel Gonzalez golfed a single and was pounded by a pitch in five attempts. Ivan De Jesus delivered a single and was hit by a pitch in four jaunts. Ramon Flores and Oscar Hernandez each had one hit in three opportunities; Hernandez with a double, Flores was caught stealing.
