Maybe the winning ways continue, especially given that’d lead into good vibes for the pond crossing trip this weekend. Feels like everything is clicking so yeah, let’s get this show on the road.

Tyler Thornton has shut down Boston and Houston in his last two starts

DJ starts him off with a single on the 12th pitch.

Boston with a better job coming back.

Maybe Paxton needs an opener, he has been much better after the first inning this season.

Paxton might need to go on the IL when German comes back. Then again, I was hoping Happ would disappear.

Most of the damage was from Gurriel, who has been incredible since being called back up about a month ago, but yeah, still.

Both NY and BOS up 7-6 now, funny keeping an eye on both of these this afternoon.

Tarpley has been a godsend these past two games, almost as if he should have been up earlier. :)

Sanchez has his weaknesses and we talk about them all the time, but he is so much fun to watch when he has full command of his strengths.

Hitting and throwing the ball really hard are strengths we can all enjoy.

Another run or two would really be welcome here, as TPOS said above.

I was sitting here in my office thinking, wouldn't it be nice if Judge and Abreu both hit two-run homers right now?

One of them took care of business at least.

That didn’t take long. I was surprised Judge didn’t try to catch the first one.

Good comeback from the Gleyber error at least, let's finish this here so Boone doesn't have to pitch god knows who in the 10th.

Kingham in because it's tied, Giles is warming but holding him in case they take the lead. Come on EE!

Man, that is a big win, with absolutely no pitching left except an even worse than usual Cessa.

If MIN beats TB tonight, NY has a 7 game division lead. If TB beats MIN, NY has the best record in the AL.

Lots of small ball today, 4 of the 8 runs scored on singles and a 5th on a SF.
