Vazquez played first not that long ago this season and did a very good job. I am most concerned with Downs. So long as he throws the ball in the vicinity of first, Vaz should get it, but he doesn't have the reach, obviously, of Dalbec. Dalbec will be fine at third, judging by past appearances. I wish this were a day game. I could use some distraction. But since both the Sox and the Tigers have off-days for travelling, it's not necessary, darn it.
Downs is supposed to be solid defensively. I don't think he'll be a concern out there.
At the plate is a different story.
Lineup is out. Bogaerts is in. Still no Devers though.

That's more like it. I can live with Devers sitting one out after getting drilled about 300 times this week.
Not complaining, but I'm curious about the change, but I wonder if Plawecki was unable to go and caused a domino effect of changes.
SSS, but he's been on base in nearly of his PAs. Cora probably hoping that he and Duran can set the table for the others.
If Downs gets on base once, by any means, I'll send $100 to the Jimmy Fund. Lose-lose for charity. I'd be happily surprised to pay it.

To date both have been positive editions to this year's team. I'll take it as long as it lasts.
Can he play the outfield? Going to need someone with the other prospects stupidity….
Kike and Arroyo will be back to take both prospects' places on the roster before they board the plane to Toronto.
The other shitty part to this is that Duran was providing some value in the lead off spot and might have unseated either RFsnyder or Arroyo.
