Cole goes tonight followed by Nestor and Monty. Matchups are looking good for the Yankees but despite being 5 for 6 during the gauntlet so far, foot needs to be kept on the gas. Toronto reminded us last night just how dangerous the AL East teams are if you give them an inch.

I haven't been to a game this year and my number 1 concession at the stadium is the chicken bucket. It's also just a great deal for stadiums. Thought that would be a good way to start this one off.

Cole against McClanahan tonight, tough week or two for Yankee hitters.

Awesome job by Cole, he has bounced back beautifully in his last two starts from that MIN disaster.

Cole looked exhausted after 7 in the dugout and even more so after that Lowe blast, he left it all on the field tonight as they say.

Lucky but OK.

Holmes didn't have anywhere near his best stuff, still should have been out of the inning on that Margot non-check swing.

I was about 25 minutes behind when NY scored twice in the top of the inning, and then I just checked the score because I did not want to deal with watching Wandy try to hold the lead. Looks like I missed some scary moments, I will watch that now.

VORP, we welcome you on the Yankee bandwagon whenever you want to jump on. You are a New Yorker now, after all. :)

Thank goodness for hockey so I haven’t had to give this mess my full attention

In 3 of NY’s last 6 games, they faced McClanahan and Manoah, both pitching as well as anyone in the league. McClanahan actually lowered his 1.87 ERA to 1.81 in the two starts but NY won both anyway. Manoah had never lost a home start to start his career at 10-0, now he is 10-1.

NY and BOS will play an incredible 16 times between July 7-Sept 25, a 70 game span, after not playing at all between April 10-July 7, such poor scheduling this year.

Same 67 game record (50-17) as 1998. Not sure why the rest of the league is bothering at this point.
You've been putting in a lot of hard work on this in multiple forums. We appreciate it.

If the Yankees win the championship I'm nominating you for the rembrat memorial award and a playoff share.
