Lots of wide open threes. Missed.
Yeah.. but there have been a lot of bumps and fouls going to the rim... a ton of contact all fourth quarter that wasn't called.. including Curry hitting White on the follow through on that last three.

Here
Celtics are the better team. Should have won tonight but unless they beat themselves or GS continues to get lucky, they will win this series
They beat themselves a lot is the problem, and let’s give the Warriors some credit on D.

Inside Lou Gorman's Head
Looking further back. C’s possessions since 5:00 mark:

- Brown 2, no
- Brown 3, no
- Tatum 3, no
- Smart 3, no
- Smart 3, no
- Horford 3, no
- Horford 3, YES
- Brown turnover
- White 3, no

And that is what it takes to be down 105-97 with 0:19 left.

Some will look at the box score and make excuses for Tatum. There was zero alpha from Tatum. Just soft.

PDX OR
Inconceivable 4th quarter offense. They had them a foul away from the penalty with like 9 minutes left in the quarter and didnt get another one til 3 minutes left. Just absolutely no killer instinct. Tatum scared of his own shadow at this point. Jaylen cant drive by the corpse of Klay Thompson. Just fucking awful. Literally pissing the title away at home.
The title has not been pissed away.

Celts had some good looks and missed in fourth---3 or 4 open threes and they got none. But beyond those, they just stopped attacking the rim and they shouldn't have needed it to be that close.

Brutal fourth quarter. The bubble team lost to Miami because they couldn't close; this team had a completely winnable game tonight and honked it---Brown and Tatum did nothing, and they also missed three straight open threes. Just cannot let them off the mat that way

Really, it wasn’t the refs. Sometimes you suck and you lose. And you play against an all-time legend having a big night.

I'm also tired of hearing about "coaching bravery" for taking out Draymond. Let's keep the nonsense hagiography to a minimum if at all possible

Warriors are indeed really good, and Steph is the best player on the floor. Tatum is hurting and being well defended by GS.

Probably going to 7.

Referees always suck. It’s a given in the NBA. The boys got their asses whipped. Simple as that. Curry was fantastic. Tatum, not so much.

Im not getting into alpha or soft or any of that. I will say that I watched this entire game and my read was that Tatum was really bad. Sloppy play, bad decision making. Had some possessions where he dominated the ball and took bad shots when he clearly didn’t have it.

He also made some passes to open teammates that couldn’t hit the shot.

I thought it was a pretty well called game until they completely put the whistle away in the fourth.

You're not wrong though.

I hate to say it, but this is squarely on Tatum. Just an awful performance. Sloppy as hell. He needed to step up — had a golden opportunity — and played his worst game of the series.
I love Tatum but if he comes up this small after all the cringy Kobe antics, he’s going to be absolutely bashed by the media

I bitch about the refs a lot but they weren’t the problem tonight. Team just came up small.

I know what the box score numbers were but if you watched this game and thought Tatum was anything better than bad I don’t know what to tell you
Officiating was fine.
