Posted this in the minor league forum but he has another HR tonight. He's on fire.

Josh Ockimey: After a slow start, where he slashed .200/.333/.275 in his first 48 PA (8bb, 16k) of the year, Ockimey has reversed ship. In the last 28 games, he is slashing .293/.388/.525 in 121 PA (18bb, 32k). That brings his season totals to .266/.373/.453. The strikeouts are still a concern but he also walks a lot and has big time power. He's still only 22 and in AA so he bears watching. If he has any type of future, it's with his bat.

Jake Thompson tossed seven innings, yielding a first inning run while giving up five hits and a hit by pitch; whiffing five and uncorking a wild pitch. Algenis Martinez allowed a Vance Vizcaino solo-homer in the ninth and a single over two frames; striking out a quartet.

Chris Madera managed a single in each of his three matchups but was caught stealing once. Brett Netzer notched three singles in four at-bats. C.J. Chatham chipped in with two singles in four trips. Santiago Espinal sliced a double in four excursions. Bobby Dalbec drew a walk in four appearances. Trent Kemp and Tyler Hill each had three terrible treks. Roldani Baldwin and Jerry Downs had four frustrating forays.

Dan Butler blooped two singles and earned a base on balls in four appearances. Mike Ohlman mashed a tater in the ninth and walked twice in four matchups. Sam Travis singled in his only trip before leaving (in the following defensive inning) for Ramon Flores, who walked once in three ventures. Tzu-Wei Lin lined a single in four at-bats.
