Darn right. Hockey has lots of variance and things can change fast. If you have given up then don’t watch. Win B’s and prove the cowards wrong.

I feel like this is a terribly important game. Win it and guarantee us at least one more game with Rene Rancourt.

85 degree day. Humid as balls. Garden ice is going to have Northeastern kids standing on it all day.

Gonna be choppy as hell tonight

All I've heard for the last two days is how great Tampa Bay is. "Oh, their defense is world class." "Oh, their top line hasn't scored and they're still dominating you." "Oh, you're too slow and too young to beat them." "Oh, they have too much experience for you."

That shit stops here.

The Bruins rocked these guys in Game 1 and showed that Tampa Bay is pretty much the same as the rest of Florida - flat, full of death, and generally miserable. They're going to do it again tonight.

Rip their heads off. All of them.

Hopefully some energy remains in the building from the Celtics comeback win last night.

Fuck Tampa.

I'm glad Donato is in. I imagine Trey Wingo is out and Heinen drops to the 4th line?

I have to believe they'd have to steal Marchand's skates and sedate the shit out of him to keep him out of this game.
I think it's gamesmanship. You're bringing a kid into the lineup that can score. Why give Cooper the lineup before you have too? Also if he's a game time decision, maybe next time he gets hammered by someone and stays doen the refs actually realize that he's hurt and don't think he's diving and actually call the penalty.

I feel like he’d need to be McSorley’d for that to happen ... and even then it’s still 50/50.

If you're putting in Donato for offense, why play Wingels over Heinen? Heinen can play on the 4th line, and if he happens to get the puck in front of an open net chances are he'll hit the net and not deflect it into the seats.

And if Donato happens to be overmatched, Heinen can slide back up to the 3rd.

Mazz is saying it’s Gionta over Heinin and Donato over Nash.
If true (big “if”) can live with it. The third line has been awful and Riley Nash never got his game back after his injury.

I’d prefer Gionta at center for his defense. Backes-Gionta-Donato can’t be any worse than the current third line.

Get that first goal and pile it on.

I would rather Heinen on the 4th over Wingels but I don't mind this 3rd line. But it's Mazz so it's probably bull shit.
