OK hear me out. Maybe this is a microcosm game, reflective of the series. The Heat have a great 1st half and things look bleak, while the Celtics come out of halftime like they are shot out of a cannon and smoke these assholes all 2nd half.

I’m not sure the Celtics can make enough shots to win….they are playing scared… I’m going for a long walk…last time I returned in Game 6… Butler was sinking all three free throws… we all know what happened next… I’ll see you guys in the 4th.

Weren’t the Celtics up 11 at the half against Miami in Game 7 2012? We all know how that went. This can turn so quickly. Obviously they cannot come out flat to start the half.

Can anyone of you tell me why Pritchard doesn’t get minutes under Joe? He played a role last season under Ime.
He is unplayable against Butler, he’ll get switched and abused. I like PP and he has a role, but in this series it’s limited to when Butler is out

Just ducking in at the half. I’m sure no one else noticed this, but the Brogdon minutes were brutal and way way too long.

This series is spotlighting the difference between open and OPEN. The Celtics have missed some open looks, the Heat are regularly getting and hitting OPEN looks. When the Celtics D showed up, they got fewer of those looks and scored fewer points as a result.

Why we entered this game going under screens and not jumping out on their shooters I will never fucking know.

Brogdon played for way too long…but I’m not sure who else Joe can play. Is he just going to go 6 deep now?
Both Malcolm and Grant look like dogshit

If we can add 27 year old Lebron at halftime, I’d feel a lot more optimistic on coming back

Need to attack the basket. Same as always—-play inside out. They had a couple turnovers mid-first quarter and stopped attacking regularly. That’s how they win.

Also need to get stops And push pace. First quarter solid there, second was pretty mediocre.

Come out strong and keep playing our game. Do what we do….it will work.

This is the stuff that makes me crazy. They are not playing scared or tentative or whatever. Miami is hitting 3s and Cs are not. In between there have been a few lapses on D and Brogdon just is an anchor on the offense right now.

Can we stop with the flat, scared, tentative nonsense?

normally the reason is Brogdon. Right now? It would be nice to get someone who can hit a shot in there.
He got minutes earlier in the series and wouldn't shoot it. Pritch is useless on O and a liability on D atop that if he doesn't pull the trigger. He needs to be a 2-3 minute heat check in and out guy, but he plays his time like a starter feeling things out.
