Roniel Raudes relinquished two runs (one earned) on eight hits over four frames; striking out four. Durin O'Linger walked three and whiffed two in three innings of work. Jared Oliver worked 2 2/3 innings, giving up an eighth inning single... and then two walks (one intentional) in the 10th before hitting Chris DeVito to bring in the ghost runner with the winning run.

Bobby Dalbec delivered a single and two walks in four appearances. Chris Madera mashed a triple, earned a free pass, and was hit by a pitch in four matchups; he was also caught stealing. Jordan Wren ripped a single in three jaunts before being pinch hit for by Jerry Downs, who picked up an intentional walk in the ninth. Trent Kemp and C.J. Chatham each contributed a hit in four at-bats; Kemp with a double. Roldani Baldwin blooped a double in five ups. Tyler Hill dropped a sacrifice bunt in four trips. Brett Netzer notched a walk in five attempts. Santiago Espinal experienced five excruciating excursions.

Salem went 1-for-12 with runners in scoring position, stranding eight on the basepaths.

Trey Ball came in with the bases loaded and immediately gave up a grand slam to Jan Hernandez. Ball would settle down, going two innings with one more hit and two walks. Adam Lau let in three runs on three hits – including a Deivi Grullon gopher ball – and a walk over the final two frames; striking out five.

Jeremy Rivera ripped a single and a round tripper in four at-bats. Danny Mars and Nick Lovullo each notched a single in three matchups. Tate Matheny managed a single in four trips.
