Miami’s best players have two fouls each.
Celts are not hitting threes.
Taking it hard to the hoop consistently seems like a good strategy.

I liked the offensive process in game 5 way, way more than what I've seen so far in game 6. The ball just isn't moving as well.

I love how these nba analysts, who watch tons of playoff games every year, are always shocked if star players have bad games when theres a lot on the line.
Shaq is shocked that any player with size doesnt average 40/20. It’s a pretty common refrain from him

OK, so what do we do at half?

Celts ideally get more threes in second half, but should come from dribble penetration. Tatum and Brown have been so good driving that they are getting quality inside looks rather than kicking out---can't complain, but not super likely to continue. Would like to see one of Grant, Smart, or Al nail a three early, they haven't given a lot on that front.

Defensively, only tweak is to be sure we go over on non-Butler perimeter players. They have done a great job down low and on Butler. Just need to stay firm on the switches and keep staying down on the pump fakes. A good defensive half overall, some of those threes are open but some will notcontinue to fall.

The loose ball/offensive rebounds are ok overall---won't get all of them ,just need to keep competing on those.

The disconcerting thing is White. The offense needs to find him more often. Tatum is taking over but he needs to not give up on his supporting cast. That beautiful wide open pass to Horford where he missed the 3 hurts but just keep finding the open man. Grant, White, Horford are key.

Other than a few Jaylen loose handles, a dumb Smart pass, and maybe a few Heat offensive boards, I don't see them making too many mistakes. I can't be that upset. Just keep playing hard.

Pretty much nailed it. One of White/Grant/Al is going to have to step up and hit their open ones.
Tatum also needs to stop with the step back/side step 3’s. He’s been otherworldly driving and creating but his long ball is cold as ice

multiple defensive miscommunications losing shooters. martin and vincent together had like 5 wide open threes.

I might try Hauser for a few especially when Jimmy sits---even more so if TL can't go. That three point shot is big, just need 1-2 of those
