Domingo looks to be the first pitcher to 10 wins this year. He has won his last 6 starts, posting a 2.72 ERA and limiting opponents to a .210 avg over that span. Duffy ain't so bad either, winning his previous 5.

Let's talk about Greg "Injured List" Bird, the first base savior who hits from the left side, had the one of the best swings in the minors, and was going to build on his 2017 postseason. Then he just kept getting hurt. He's the type of player who just doesn't seem like he's going to put it together in NY but may get acquired by a team like the Tigers or Giants and go on to have a pretty nice career. Regardless, if he's here, we're rooting for him to get healthy and come back swinging! Come on Greg, fix that foot and help us win some damn games.

I wonder if that Barrett injury is real or they're just trying to stash him for some reason, he didn't pitch since being brought up this time.

Didi is going to Scranton on Tuesday, Boone thinks he will need a week or two there before being activated.

Domingo German being the first to ten wins would just be the cherry on top of everything.
He is trying to join these two short lists today:

10+ Wins Before Memorial Day (since it became an official holiday in 1971)

10 Pedro Martinez 1999 BOS
10 John Smoltz 1996 ATL
10 Randy Jones 1976 SD
12 Wilbur Wood 1973 CHW
10 Vida Blue 1971 OAK

Fewest Team Games to 10th Win (since 1995) (this is game 52 for NY)

47 John Smoltz 1996
48 Pedro Martinez 1999
48 Kevin Appier 1995
51 Ubaldo Jimenez 2010
51 Roger Clemens 1997
52 Curt Schilling 2002

Still behind a few innings, but will go back to catching up on Bojack Horseman instead of this.

Holder has not been very good this season, he still has options.

I know I'm up next in the rotation, but I'm going to skip this turn. It probably sounds silly, but I don't want to start a thread on Memorial Day. You're up Jess, if you're going to be around. Otherwise, over to you, JA,

I'll pick it up again after all you guys go and crow's next mega-run. Hopefully after the All-Star break :)

Totally cool, so you're up, @Brand Name, or I'll take it if you haven't started it and we are closing in on game time. David Hale against a team that scored 19 runs yesterday, whoo!
