Fernando Rodriguez relinquished four runs on six hits – including back-to-back cuadrangulars by Dylan Cozens and Danny Ortiz – over 2 2/3 innings; striking out two. Williams Jerez pitched 2 1/3 perfect innings; whiffing five. Austin Maddox yielded two runs on solo moonshots to Dylan Cozens and Joey Meneses; giving up an additional single and a walk over 1 2/3 frames; striking out a pair. Ty Buttrey struck out the only man he faced to end the seventh.

Cole Sturgeon swatted a single and a triple while stealing a base over three sessions. Ivan De Jesus delivered a single and two walks in his three trips. Mike Ohlman singled once and whiffed twice in his three matchups. Tzu-Wei Lin and Aneury Tavarez each lined a single in four treks; Tavarez striking out three times. Dedgar Jimenez yielded two runs on seven hits – including a gopher ball to Zach Green – and three walks over seven innings; whiffing four and uncorking a wild pitch. Daniel McGrath allowed the ghost runner to score in the eighth, giving up two hits and striking out two.

Austin Rei ripped a double and drew a walk in three appearances. Josh Ockimey obtained a single and a walk in three jaunts; Ockimey was pinch-run for by Jeremy Rivera in the seventh who stayed in the game; ending the contest on a ground out. Luke Tendler and Nick Lovullo each notched a single in three at-bats. Danny Mars managed a walk in four matchups. Tony Renda was unable to reach in his two trips before being replaced by Josh Tobias who successfully dropped a sacrifice bunt. Tate Matheny was unable to reach in three unsuccessful ups. Chad De La Guerra and Jantzen Witte wilted in four forays.
