Nets get Harden to shoot whatever he wants. The Celtics, on the other hand, are relying on Jabari Parker.

Stevens is challenging that? Huh? Looks like he jumped into his landing space. I don't get it.

Enough of the Jabari Parker Experience. Get Romeo in there and try to play some defense. Parker — hunted on defense, pathetic ball stopper on offense

13 assists to 1 through less than 13 minutes is all you need to know about this one.

The C's haven't run a real offense all year, so this shouldn't be a surprise, but the fact they aren't pushing the ball on every possession to try to at least give themselves some open looks is nothing but bullshit.

And again, Joe Harris gets 2 quick fouls, they then let him score the next dozen points without once trying to isolate him to get him his 3rd foul.

Just incompetence at this level.

I will say this about the challenge: Brad this year has not protected his players well with challenges and argument. So it is good he stands up for TL there on what was, in fairness, a somewhat marginal amount of contact on the replay.

But still, with one point at stake in the second quarter, a really bad use of a challenge

I bet Danny didn't have this in mind when he mastermind the KG-Pierce trade.

Major shift in schadenfreude on the I-95 corridor
Every time (pre-KD) that I saw someone wearing a Brooklyn hat/jersey, I would say "thanks for the trade." 75% of the time they had no idea what I was talking about. Apparently it is I that has no idea. It is sad that they will go to NBA Finals before us, post-trade.

Boston
So after watching Trae Young and Devin Booker the other day (I acknowledge that those teams have more talent around them)....when does this shit from Tatum start to become worrying?

God, the offense looks so shitty. It's almost like they've never played with each other before.

I don't understand how opposing teams can regularly hunt Kemba, Fournier and Jabari when they are on the court, and almost every shot we take is against the opponents best defenders. We just take their worst defenders and have them stand in the corner with our worst offensive players.

All season long, never any changes.

Its kind of fucking amazing with the talent and assets the the Celts had and the events that took place

Way too much smiling from this crew while they're getting embarrassed in a playoff game

I am a Brad fan but the offense this year has been indecipherable.

Maybe the plan is to have the offense play so horribly it drives down Fournier’s value and they can resign him cheaper in the offseason. Danny thinking one move ahead...

He's so bad. Not sure we need two of our highest paid guys as useless against playoff competition.
