How about two wins today? A little more of the same would be great.

For part two, I’d like to highlight James Paxton. Before going on the IL, Paxton had 32 strikeouts in his previous 3 starts over 19.2 innings. His final start only lasted 3 innings before he had to leave the game. We need him healthy and we need him soon. Get better Big Maple!

I think he’ll be back this week, hopefully they slot him in after Happ this time and not before.

Weather is evidently a bit questionable tonight, but if they play, the plan is Green and then Cortes and/or Chance Adams (the latter wasn’t at the ballpark yet as of an hour or two ago).

Voit had 60 friends/family at game 1, they’re going to watch game 2 at a restaurant since it wasn’t originally on the schedule.

Chance Adams has actually made it to the stadium, but I'm guessing Cortes Jr. will be used before him.

I am still wondering where this game is going to be televised, I think it's PIX-11 but the Mets are on there now in the 11th (although they have the bases loaded with one out).

It's scheduled for PIX so there is no other alternative...

DET leaves the bases loaded top 12, still tied. I rarely root for the Mets but I wouldn't mind a walkoff homer here.

Like I guessed:

ATTENTION FANS: With today's Mets game going long on PIX-11, coverage of tonight's Yankees game will start on YES. It will move to PIX-11 following the conclusion of the Mets game.

Chad Green has shown zero signs of actually being good at this 'opener' role.

Wow, they're not challenging that? OK, thank you, looked safe to me.

Didi went 0-3 in his first rehab game in Tampa, but he was part of three double plays.

Adams went 39-11 in the minors from 2015-17 but hit a wall last year. Struggling again this season in Scranton but pitched well in his first Yankee outing last week.
He had surgery between 2017 and 2018 and never got it back together last year, then he started this year with three lousy starts in AAA, but he made some mechanical changes and was very good his last three starts, plus he threw three scoreless to close the final game against TB on Sunday before being sent down and called back up.

Sparkman can go deep, he threw seven scoreless against TB a few weeks ago, 86 pitches.

Yes, just heard that from MM. Makes sense he would struggle last year.

I know Gardner has looked rough in the field today, but you know he's solid. I'm not sure what to think of Frazier's fielding.

Terry's point about the fence and injury concerns is well taken though.

Besides shying away from the fence this one time, you rarely see Frazier catch a ball that he dives for. I would like to see that stat. I bet he’s 0-for-5 diving for balls this season.

I finally found a flaw in the 2019 Yankees!

Chance is the one who just got to the ballpark a few hours before the game, it looks like his defense spent the time in between drinking heavily.

Fly ball pitchers like Happ and Adams can look good in this park, but only if their outfielders actually catch the ball.
