Feels like since his rookie year he’s been the anti-Frank Catalanotto against us.Had to figure Trout was bound to start doing damage
At least I only need to see myself in that backyard this one last time if the offense can't score
Lifetime, his OPS against the Red Sox is .921, his fourth-worst against any AL opponent. The Astros lead the field at .898--crazy they've muted him most despite sharing a division with him.Feels like since his rookie year he’s been the anti-Frank Catalanotto against us.
And it wasn't meant to be again. Who's next?I haven't won a gamethread yet.... but both were games started by Pivetta. This one is started by Bello. Things are looking up for me! Go win. Pitch well. Do good defense! Get the runs!!!
NOBODY got the runsAnd it wasn't meant to be again. Who's next?
Oh, I guess that means the only W. coast game I'll be seeing: a Kluber start at 4 pm, natch. They're saving the offense for games that start at approved hours for the East Coast
Wow. 921 is wild...I swear to God he's never been a factor in any game I've watched against the Sox. Crazy.Lifetime, his OPS against the Red Sox is .921, his fourth-worst against any AL opponent. The Astros lead the field at .898--crazy they've muted him most despite sharing a division with him.
In a similar vein, I would have guessed his best OPS against an AL opponent would be some East or Central team with abnormally good stats in smaller sample sizes... but nope, it's the Mariners (1.098) in 181 games. Dude is (or has been) incredibly consistent.
He is so, so, so good. He gets called the best player in the sport over and over, and I still feel like he is underrated.Lifetime, his OPS against the Red Sox is .921, his fourth-worst against any AL opponent.
