Have3n't watched the past two nights but this is reminding me of the 0-6 Pirates/Cards series - the offense just goes dead for a prolonged stretch multiple times.

Feels like since his rookie year he’s been the anti-Frank Catalanotto against us.
Lifetime, his OPS against the Red Sox is .921, his fourth-worst against any AL opponent. The Astros lead the field at .898--crazy they've muted him most despite sharing a division with him.

In a similar vein, I would have guessed his best OPS against an AL opponent would be some East or Central team with abnormally good stats in smaller sample sizes... but nope, it's the Mariners (1.098) in 181 games. Dude is (or has been) incredibly consistent.

Wow. 921 is wild...I swear to God he's never been a factor in any game I've watched against the Sox. Crazy.

He is so, so, so good. He gets called the best player in the sport over and over, and I still feel like he is underrated.
