William Cuevas surrendered five runs on five hits – including bombs by Adam Lind and Rey Navarro – two walks, and a hit by pitch over four innings; striking out three. Josh Smith tossed 18 pitches – 16 for strikes – over his two perfect frames; whiffing a pair. Tyler Thornburg struck out two of the three batters he faced in a twelve pitch seventh. Robby Scott struck out one in his perfect eighth. Ty Buttrey struck out one while yielding a run on two hits in his two out appearance in the ninth. Ryan Brasier picked up the save on one pitch; inducing a comebacker from Clint Frazier to finish the game.

Ramon Flores knocked in four runs with a single and a roundtripper in three at-bats. Aneury Tavarez and Rusney Castillo each contributed two hits in four appearances; Tavarez with a two-run tater in the third, Castillo was picked off then caught stealing. Mike Olt obtained a double and a walk in four matchups. Ivan De Jesus was hit by a pitch in one of his three excursions. Tzu-Wei Lin and Mike Miller each earned a walk in four trips; Miller was caught stealing. Cole Sturgeon suffered three stinky sessions. Mike Ohlman struck out three times in four futile forays.

Jantzen Witte, Josh Ockimey, Josh Tobias, and Tate Matheny each had a hit in four jaunts; Matheny with a double. Austin Rei reached twice with a walk and a hit by pitch in four appearances. Durin O'Linger let in four runs (three earned) on a walk and five hits – including a Chris Clare cuadrangular – in his two innings; striking out one. Hunter Smith surrendered six runs (four earned) on a walk, a hit by pitch, and four hits – including a three-run poke from Preston Palmeiro – over 1 1/3 innings; striking out two. Matt Gorst came in with the bases juiced and walked the first batter he saw before striking out Palmeiro and getting Wilson Garcia to pop up in foul territory to secure the victory.

Tyler Hill hit three singles in six at-bats. Brett Netzer, C.J. Chatham, and Roldani Baldwin each notched two hits and a walk in six appearances; Netzer with a double, Baldwin with a roundtripper, Chatham with a double and a Grand Slam. Jordan Procyshen procured a single and two walks in five jaunts after replacing Santiago Espinal who was hit by a pitch in his only excursion. Jerry Downs delivered a single, a walk, and was hit by a pitch in six ventures. Jordan Wren reached on a single and a walk in five tries. Bobby Dalbec blooped a single and earned a base on balls in six sessions. Chris Madera managed a walk and a stolen base in five forays.

Marino Campana contributed a single, a double, and a stolen base in four matchups. Lorenzo Cedrola laced two singles and was caught stealing in five forays.
