19-8Remember Game 3 in the greatest comeback from 0-3 in MLB history? Boston lost 19-11.
I mean really the blame is with Brad here. Letting this coach with this staff run the show is a huge mistake. And as for Brad, his deadline move is Muscala? We never had a 3rd option at big with 90 year old Al Horford and glass knee Rob Williams as the first two. Not a good showing. What's everyone's obsession with blaming the players OR the coach? Here and on twitter.
It's pretty clear they both shit the bed in this series.
Honestly Joe has a much better excuse than the players. He has a terrible JV assistant coaching staff and it's his first season.
Tatum, Brown, Horford, Smart, etc all have A TON of experience. The way they have played is legitimately crazy bad, to the point you have to wonder if there is some unknown thing going on beneath the surface.
No coach, no matter how bad, can submarine an experienced team this much on his own. It's impossible.
Oh yeah that’s not the only move, but it’s move number 1Trading Smart doesn’t fix their execution issues. At this point they should look at trading anyone but just Smart wouldn’t be enough imo
G4 in 04 was a home game. Celts are like a snowball in hell they will melt in the Miami heat.So you're saying we've still got a chance?
Nuggets sweeping is fine with me, screw thE HEat & RileyAnd we won't even get an entertaining finals. That is when I am sure that their collective 3 point shooting will go back in the toilet, and Jokic will pick them apart like an overcooked chicken.
Fuck goddammit fuck.
95 MagicIs this the best team ever to be down 3-0 in a series?
They’ll be out in south beach the next 2nightsG4 in 04 was a home game. Celts are like a snowball in hell they will melt like a snow ball in the Miami heat.
I’m sorry for breaking up this core would be stupid. This team obviously has the talent to win. The 2008 team would not have done anything if they had a guy with Garnetts talent but not his attitude. They need somebody who can give them some grit. Last year it was the coach.Because blaming the coach, who people have no connection to, and who is easily replaced with money doesn't make people confront the question of whether the core needs to be broken up, a core they have a strong connection to and have been wishing on for 6+ years
You mean Lispy? I have literally no respect for that man. He’s a disgrace to the profession of announcingReggie Miller is just awful
The ‘89 Lakers? Is this the best team ever to be down 3-0 in a series?
Actually, human history“Largest defeat in Celtics history”, according to Allie LaForce.

I think they should try a different type of coach from outside the organization.. I know it's four coaches in four years, but three of them have basically been from the same tree. Let's try someone with maybe different ideas.. but who that is.. I have not idea.I’m sorry for breaking up this core would be stupid. This team obviously has the talent to win. How much did you bet?Lots of $$$ to be made in this series if you were smart enough to know how poorly coached and overrated this squad is. I think it was +4900 for a Miami sweep.
As I said in the 2nd quarter: 1-2-3 CancunThey’ll be out in south beach the next 2nights
About a week ago.As far as the core of this team goes….Al Horford turns 37 in two weeks. How much longer can he be counted on?
lmao. This would actually be funny
And that's the fucking T shirt they should wear next year.Celtic Pride
Celtic Hide
Celtic Cried
Celtic Died
RIP Celtic Pride
Would have thought 2017 Cavs would have had two bigger blowouts. They were up like 50 at Halftime once.*playoff loss
A good candidate for this distinction is 1982-83 Celtics who got swept by the Bucks. Is this the best team ever to be down 3-0 in a series?
I’m sure Jaylen Brown will work on the little things once he inks a $295M contract. You only move him for the right move but there is no way he’s untouchable anymore. As far as the core of this team goes….Al Horford turns 37 in two weeks. How much longer can he be counted on?
Feels to me like something is missing with the two Jays, Brown is the guy I would look to move. They just don’t really seem to complement each other as well as two stars should.
2020 Bucks? Is this the best team ever to be down 3-0 in a series?
Definitely not the same tree BTW, Stevens isn't really from a tree, but Udoka was a Popovich/Brett Brown guy, Mazulla... I guess he's from Stevens' tree?I think they should try a different type of coach from outside the organization.. Given the salary cap and how hard it is to change over a roster.. I don't think that burning it down/trading a ton of players is going to work as some of you may hope.

he’s well known for being a manical worker. It’s shitty to question anyones work ethic on this team, especially the JaysI’m sure Jaylen Brown will work on the little things once he inks a $295M contract. You only move him for the right move but there is no way he’s untouchable anymore.
