Drive lose to Augusta, 5-2.

Boxscore

Jhonathan Diaz was dazzling... except for a small stretch in the fifth. Diaz retired the first 13 batters he faced... then gave up only a walk in his final five batters (the walker was caught stealing). However... between those two stretches, Diaz surrendered four runs on three singles, a double, a wild pitch, and a hit by pitch. Over his six frames, Diaz whiffed nine. Lukas Young yielded two hits and struck out a trio over two innings. Devon Fisher gave up a lead-off gopher ball to Manuel Geraldo in the ninth and also hit a batter before getting his three outs, one by way of the K.

Lorenzo Cedrola contributed a single, a double, and a hit by pitch in four appearances; he was also caught stealing. Victor Acosta and Marino Campana each chipped in with two hits in four ventures; Acosta with a double, Campana with a triple. Frankie Rios, Zach Sterry, and Jagger Rusconi each reached with a walk in four sessions; Rusconi with a stolen base. Charlie Madden was unable to reach in three matchups. Kervin Suarez and Ricardo Cubillan each had four fizzled forays; Suarez adding a caught stealing.
