He has been useless defensively his entire career. He's the greatest goal scorer in the history of the game but the man gives no fucks about defending.

I'm really surprised by the final Corsi #s. I would love to know what the numbers were like halfway through the second.
The Caps had the early edge but from the mid point of the first period on through the end of the game the Bruins were out ahead. or 50/50. The Hathaway goal actually made it 50/50 then the Bruins turned on the jets and ended up +21. That's at 5x5, In all situations the Bruins tilted the ice midway through the first and never looked back and ended up +26. They really owned the 4x4 time in the 2nd.

I swear I saw an angle where it looked like McAvoy went over Anderson, and the contact was largely Sheary. Would have been a real risky challenge, but the way the Bruins PP was playing (meh?) it was probably worth a shot.

Watch Ovechkin again on Debrusk's goal (video queued up to the proper spot).

He has been useless defensively thus far this series.

Actually, from the overhead on the overtime goal, Ovechkin was a line change and he came from the far end of the bench, so not his fault. And as for your video, that effort matches the amount of effort required to prevent Nick Ritchie from scoring.;)
