His left elbow did. Everyone is looking at the second one it was the first that connected. Quickest confirmation ever
I agree it was fast. And, if they have that angle, they haven't shown it on TNT. All the angles they showed suggested there were several inches in between at all times.

A lot more one on one second half of second quarter for Cs. need to get back to the process offensively.

the fouls they’ve called have been so incredibly random. soft ones, letting tons of shit go. who knows
Agreed, it's what is really bad about second-half-of-season NBA officiating: no one has any idea what will and won't be called. There's soft off-ball fouls called; phantom contact called; hard contact on the ballhandler not called.

It's not biased---it's just totally unpredictable. Which is bad.

It's a weak tech, and Tony Brothers sucks.

But Tatum needs to keep his eye on the prize here, whining to Tony Brothers is not going to help get us anywhere.

Other than 6-8 possessions in second quarter I thought offense was fine.

The defense is the issue.

Also, Charles has no idea what it takes to win a championship.

Cavs had 18 points in a little over 5 minutes to start the quarter. Once they got up 6 it looked like the Celtics decided they really ought to try on defense. Cavs only scored 6 after that (one on the T free throw).

Just need to keep it up and the game will be over by the middle of the third quarter.

Second half developments:

Marcus Morris reverts back to “washed up jackhole”

Strus can’t hit shit

Niang has Mitchell grab him a pretzel

Tatum goes for 20

We pull away to win by 17

Ordinarily I’d agree, since Tatum’s Achilles heel is his maturity—sometimes he is every bit a 26-yo kid. But if he can’t even wave his arm in disgust without getting T’d up, then the standard for him is entirely unreasonable.

Yeah, it was an absurd technical. The scary part was that Tatum's reaction to the T was even worse and that's when he needed to calm down. That was a scary 10 seconds.

Tatum is the only player in the league that gets a T for that. It's so out of control.

All the stats look pretty good really - more true shot attempts, more assists, more rebounds, 6 turnovers each, etc.

Cs getting to the line only 2 times is the difference really. Cavs are all over the Cs elbows and refs just don't care.

Do you think they're playing well?
It looks OK to me. The possessions they are highlighting aren't great. I thought they were good at attacking the hedge and getting the ball to the guys in the short roll and their short roll guys have made good decisions.
