PawSox walk-off with two in the 10th, win 6-5.

Jalen Beeks yielded two runs on four hits – including a Dalton Pompey dinger – and two walks over six frames; striking out a septet and slinging a wild pitch. Robby Scott surrendered a hit and struck out one in the seventh. Tyler Thornburg had a blip in the rehab, giving up two runs on two hits – including another Pompey bomb – and a walk while getting only one out. Ryan Brasier struck out a pair while getting five consecutive outs. Williams Jerez pitched the 10th, allowing an unearned (ghost runner) run on an intentional walk and a single.

Rusney Castillo contributed a double and two singles in four trips. Dustin Pedroia punched a single in three at-bats before giving way to Jordan Betts who blooped a single in his only appearance. Tzu-Wei Lin laced a third inning homer and ended the game with a single in the 10th; his only two hits in five treks. Dan Butler doubled home the first run in the 10th, his only hit in four attempts. Sam Travis and newly promoted Cole Sturgeon each walked once in four sessions. Ivan De Jesus delivered a sacrifice fly in four ventures. Aneury Tavarez and Ramon Flores each suffered four forlorned forays.

Mike Shawaryn surrendered seven runs on seven hits – including jacks from Jan Hernandez and Damek Tomscha – and four walks over five frames and two batters; whiffing seven. Trey Ball allowed a run on a solo bomb from Malquin Canelo, also giving up a single, a walk, and a hit by pitch over two innings while striking out a pair. Jordan Weems yielded two runs (one earned) on a hit, two walks, and a wild pitch while striking out one in the eighth.

Tony Renda ripped two singles and a double in five trips. Jeremy Rivera roped two singles, drew a walk, and stole a base in six sessions. Jantzen Witte had a pair of singles in five at-bats. Tate Matheny mashed a double, walked twice, and was hit by a pitch in five matchups. Jhon Nunez and Danny Mars each had a single and a walk in five jaunts. Chad De La Guerra golfed a single and was hit by a pitch in five appearances. Josh Ockimey and Luke Tendler each singled once in five trips but combined for seven Ks.

Alex Scherff surrendered three runs on four hits – including a Seuly Matias moonshot – a walk, and a hit by pitch over five frames; striking out three. Marcos Lantigua let in four runs (two earned) on three hits, a walk, and a hit by pitch while garnering only two outs. Durin O'Linger allowed an unearned run on two hits and a walk over two innings; whiffing four. Lukas Young yielded four runs (three earned) on four hits – including an MJ Melendez jack – while striking out three in 1 1/3 innings.

Charlie Madden had a perfect day at the plate with three singles and two doubles; scoring four runs while driving in a quartet. Zach Sterry scorched two singles, a double, and a triple while driving in four runs in six sessions. Kervin Suarez struck three singles and was stung by a pitch in five treks. Everlouis Lozada laced two singles in five excursions. Jagger Rusconi ripped two singles in six jaunts. Lorenzo Cedrola contributed a double, a sacrifice bunt, and a sacrifice fly in six trips. Cole Brannen belted a single and drew a base on balls in six appearances. Marino Campana clubbed a single in six at-bats. Ricardo Cubillan had five futile forays.

Greenville became the penultimate full season team to reach double digits... beating the Frisco Roughriders of the Texas League who are stuck on 8 wins for the season.
