I've started a bunch of game threads this year, but hey, someone has to do it. 5,000 at the Garden tonight and the pressure is off now that JB is out for the year. Play loose, play hard, and see what happens.

Start Tacko! I guarantee that the Heat will be taken by surprise.

If you can't get up for this type of game then maybe you need to rethink whether you belong at the NBA level. No excuse for a lackadaisical effort.

Yeah, not that expectations were high to begin with, but without JB there are no expectations whatsoever. I’m hoping they just pick up the pace and play with a bunch of energy. Nothing to lose. Shades of the 2018 hospital group.

This “should” be a passionate performance and a W for the C’s tonight. Tough group to trust though.

Might have aggravated that oblique injury from a couple weeks ago

Definitely. But -- there is that line of reasoning that PP fits in better with second unit. Not that I agree but ...

Nothing quite as good in hoops as seeing Tristan go to work off the dribble.

Just attack the hell out of Robinson. Isolate him the way they isolate on Kemba.

Dedmon has been significantly better than Tristan Thompson in these two games, which is depressing.

Is Smart's three-point shooting getting crappier? He's like 23% over the last 10 games.

Thought he was fouled, tried to make it a shooting foul.
He didn't think he was fouled. He was blatantly fouled. Scal kept talking about the body, and how he was knocked off his line, but that's not true. The wing that came down to help literally grabbed Kemba's right arm with both hands.

Absolutely ridiculous no call.
