This is just not accurate. I was in a debate with a friend on who was the the best player on the floor between Tatum and Brown. Mitchell played average-ish defense (Jrue kinda abused him) and scored a lot in the first three quarters. Kudos to him. The Celtics game plan was clearly to shut down their team offense and limit the others. In the 4th, he was a ghost both on offense and defense and in rebounding. Mitchell is a tremendous scorer. He makes eyes pop. You get SoSHers saying things like he's had better playoff success than Tatum. You failed to mention his mediocre assists and rebounds numbers. When the game got tough at the end, he totally disappeared. Maybe he was gassed like in game one, IDK. But calling him probably the best player tonight seems a stretch, yeah?
According to NBA.com, CLE was 3-12 (0-5 from 3P) against JB and 5-11 (1-3 on 3P) against JT.

BOS was 10-17 against Mitchell, including 5-9 from 3P.
