Palace up 3-0 if anyone else cares. This would match their highest points total in the Premier League at 49, which also saw them relegated that same year.

Relegated with 49 points? That’s crushing. Nowadays 36 to 38 (edit) is normally enough to stay up.

Some irony that City's title winning goals may end up being a 30-yard shot from a centerback and a header from a set piece, just about the least Pep-style goals they can score.

15 years ago, Glenn Murray was playing D3 pro soccer in the US for the Wilmington Hammerheads.

It was the first season of the Premier League and there were 22 teams (and more games)...but still, yeah...it's a crazy number to go down with.

I feel like the intensity at Brighton has dropped on both sides. City seem content to hold the ball and sit on their lead, and Brighton don't look much like scoring

Before today, Brighton had scored two goals total in their last nine matches. Seems pretty unlikely they can score twice in the next 20+ minutes.

California. Duh.
Well, for the true reverse Aguerooooooooo moment Teddy keeps talking about, they need to give up two in stoppage time.

(Yeah, I know.)

It's kind of annoying watching Chelsea wearing yellow, against a team playing blue.

Mane toes up the Golden Boot race. Even if he was a half step office. Great cross by TAA.

Wolves fans were doing fake goal celebrations for Brighton during their game to mess with Liverpool. lol

Congrats to City. Winning 14 straight to close the season is mind boggling.

Edit: did Sané just hurt himself celebrating?

According to Twitter, they also started chanting, "Raheem Sterling, he's top of the league," which is some truly top-drawer trolling.

1 point back with 9 games to go. Won them all, and still a point short. Congrats to City, they went out and won it.

Congratulations to City, our league season ends not with a feeling of failure but one of immense pride in what we've achieved this year. Let's take a day or so to reflect on that, let the players have a short break then the work starts again as we focus on Madrid.

And "You're not going to win a thing!"

I mean, rooting interests aside, that's just funny.

I'd like to see it as Liverpool winnning the apertura and city winning the clausura. :)
But seriously, congrats to city, a historically great team.

Congrats to City fans. Helluva competition this year. Losing one game over an entire season and having nothing to show for it stings, though...
