The playoffs await. What better time for Kase to break the seal and score his first goal as a Bruin?

It’s time to smoke ‘em if you’ve got ‘em.

Win please. Oh, and stay healthy!

Since we're on the road for round one regardless, I'm of two minds for this game--on one hand, it is better to be a three seed than a four seed if we advance in the playoffs. On the other hand, there isn't a ton of difference between facing the Pens and the Caps, and home ice doesn't matter as much with limited seating capacity and maybe we prioritize health over victory.

The Islanders are much better at home then they are on the road. So they should try to win this game so that if they end up playing them they have home ice. I would then send the entire taxi squad to Washington tomorrow.

That's where I'm at, but we're rolling out the A team tonight. I think tomorrow will end up being a defacto exhibition game, depending on what the salary cap allows for call ups (they told me there would be no math).

Pumped to get a look at Kase. Low expectations but really hope it works out.

Marchand - Bergeron - Pastrnak
Hall - Krejci - Smith
Ritchie - Kuraly - Wagner
DeBrusk - Lazar - Kase

Grzelyck - McAvoy
Reilly - Carlo
Lauzon - Clifton

If they make it out of the "Mass Mutual East" they will still probably be a three seed in the next round anyway, and since they are probably going to need to beat both Washington and Pittsburg to get there, from the three seed now, I just hope nobody gets injured.

But win anyway!

It's kinda a kick ass story that the legendary Rene Rancourt retired and the Bs replaced him by pulling Todd Angily out from behind a beer counter at the Garden.

Uhhh….Pasta sold the shit out of that one. 2 extra mins is absolutely the right call. I have no idea what Jack and Brick are talking about.

Ah maybe NHL.com is wrong then. I was watching with the sound off.

NHL.com has it 2 for slashing Pasta, 2 for unsportsmanlike on Pasta.
Yeah it was on Marchand when he was walking into the slot. Damn you NHL.com, damn you to hell.

I think Pasta has an injury and that butt end caught him in the right spot... that wasn't acting.

Also would explain some of his recent play...

If he’s that hurt that a little nudge like that causes him to drop to the ice and convulse in pain, he shouldn’t be playing and should be resting for the playoffs. I mean give me a break.

Did it get him on the wrist above the glove? I’ve definitely whacked that part of my arm on a door or desk or whatever and it’s the blinding flash of pain that fades quickly.
