Kochetkov is about as average as a goalie gets (0.003 goals saved above expected per 60). Need to find a way to get some possession and shots on goal.
Just like the phrase “They’re not adding any more for 2024” should be pinned to the top of the main board, the phrase “Nothing that happens in the regular season is indicative of anything in the post season, it might as well be two different sports” should be pinned at the top of RMPS.
Literally the only thing that matters in these last four games is they come out of it healthy.
One of their worst games of the year. Just a terrible effort at home, plus the added humiliation of allowing a Michigan lacrosse goal.

Eh, it was like The Celtics game. Neither game really matters. Plus, we're getting dangerously close to the President's trophy.
New season starts soon.
This is my big negative from the game (that and how far the gap looked between us and the Canes). Getting that WC2 would make getting out of the first round drastically easier and they really could have used at least a point. Shocking no-show at home against a top team, but it was just one of those games...hopefully out of their system.
It was a Tuesday night at the end of the regular season in the middle of six days off, against another team that they were probably hoping would go through the motions as well. It sucks for the people that bought tickets, but at the end, there were no injuries and they can use the next couple of days to recuperate before ramping up for the playoffs.
