Hart slaughtered, Portland continues their losing streak with a 6-5 defeat.

Kyle Hart yielded six runs on eleven hits (five singles, four doubles, and two triples) and a wild pitch in 3 2/3 frames; whiffing six. Matt Kent gave up a hit over 1 1/3 scoreless innings, striking out one. Trey Ball walked one and K-ed one in two scoreless frames. Trevor Kelley gave up a hit and struck out one in his one inning of work.

Danny Mars knocked three singles in four at-bats and stole a base. Cole Sturgeon and Esteban Quiroz each notched a single and was hit by a pitch in four plate appearances; Quiroz also swiped a bag. Jordan Betts bashed a double in four trips. Mike Olt launched a sacrifice fly in four matchups. Luke Tendler and Austin Rei each drew a walk amid three hitless attempts. C.J. Chatham and Michael Osinski each obtained two hits in four at-bats; Chatham with a double. Pedro Castellanos and Everlouis Lozada each launched a hit in four excursions; Castellanos with a double, Lozada with a caught stealing. Kervin Suarez reached twice with a walk and a hit by pitch in five sessions. Isaias Lucena took a free pass amid three hitless ups. Cole Brannen walked once in his five battles. Hunter Smith surrendered one hit and two walks over three scoreless innings; whiffing a pair. Joan Martinez gave up two hits and three walks in two scoreless innings, striking out one.

Ryan Scott singled thrice in four sessions and was caught stealing once. Brett Netzer and Jerry Downs each dropped a single and a double in four at-bats. Bobby Dalbec and Trent Kemp each knocked a pitch over the wall and drew a walk in four appearances. Tyler Hill had a single in three trips. Kyri Washington singled once and swiped a bag in four ups. Jalen Beeks allowed a run on four hits and two walks over four frames; whiffing eight. Ty Buttrey gave up a single and solo bombs to Dwight Smith and Danny Jansen in his two innings; striking out five. Kyle Martin managed 1 2/3 scoreless frames, yielding a hit and whiffing one. Robby Scott got both of his outs via the K, giving up one hit. Ryan Brasier went 3 2/3 innings, allowing the unearned run via the ghost-runner rule in the 12th. Brasier gave up two hits and struck out four.

Aneury Tavarez launched a single and a double and drew a walk in six attempts. Mike Miller had a single and two walks in five matchups while also swiping a bag. Chad De La Guerra golfed a double and drew a walk in five trips; he also stole a base. Ramon Flores flipped a single and took a free pass in five appearances. Mike Ohlman obtained a single in five treks. Jeremy Barfield launched a sacrifice fly, but remains hitless on the season with his 0-for-4. Jantzen Witte whiffed twice in his five hitless jaunts.
