I'm sure I'm missing a bunch, but I can't immediately remember another player like Blake who turned his career from a superstar peak into this hustle role player freak that's diving all over the place in his mid-30's.

Not superstar, but Iggy was the man in Philly for a stretch.

They realized early on that the reward for getting the 8 seed is a chance to play Boston, and decided that winning 2 straight do or die games followed by a series with the Bucks is a safer path.
