Liverpool team to face Southampton is pretty much spot on

Alisson, TAA, Matip, Van Dijk, Robertson, Wijnaldum, Fabinho, Keïta, Salah, Mané, Firmino
Subs: Mignolet, Lovren, Milner, Henderson, Moreno, Shaqiri, Sturridge

Southampton very much on the front foot... Liverpool always seem to struggle against a 3 CB formation

Goal had been coming. Southampton have been struggling with all those flat floated crosses all day. Will probably finish 4-1 because they can't seem to handle them

Thank goodness. I didn’t think Southampton could keep it up but they’re still scaring me on the counter

The color guy was wrong. That’s fine. But he’s still trying to justify it instead of just saying there was contact. He was already going down?

Edit: And a makeup for the Salah offside. Firmino was clearly on

California. Duh.
Just to show how absolutely everything came together for Leicester City 3 years ago, Liverpool now have more points after 33 games than LCFC had at the end of the season, and Leiicester won the league by 10 points.

If Liverpool and City both win out, Liverpool's 97 points would only be good enough for 2nd despite being the third-best total since the PL switched to a 38-game season, behind only City last year and City this year.

Ha, Carra had to jump in there for the postgame interviews. Should have stolen Ratface's mic instead of King Kenny's daughter's.

Missed illegal throw leads to a 1-0 first half head for Everton over Arsenal. This may be Arsenal's most difficult remaining EPL game, but the first half had nothing going on offense. Zero shots on goal. Aubemeyang needs to come in for either Mkhi or Ozil and Ramsey should be on for Elneny.

Deulofeu puts Watford up 3-2 towards the end of the first period of extra time, after Wolves led 2-0 originally. His first goal was an outstanding chip on Ruddy

Not so re: the throw-in.

Laws of the Game:

"At the moment of delivering the ball, the thrower must have part of each foot on the touchline or on the ground outside the touchline."

Digne's front foot is on the touchline.

I stand corrected. I was always taught both feet on the ground behind the line as a player, but never have I bothered to look up the rule.

This feels like something that changed between the end of my collegiate career and beginning of beer leagues. I’d swear feet had to be behind the line years ago. I did notice that it had changed, but couldn’t guess when.

Beautiful individual effort from Hazard gives Chelsea an early 1-0 lead. Great dribbling moves through multiple Hammers.
I watched the replay of this goal seven or eight times and I still have no idea how the hell Hazard did this. Even if the West Ham defenders were literally traffic cones I don’t think would be possible to dribble through them like he did.
