Josh Taylor tossed two scoreless innings, giving up a hit and a walk while whiffing a trio. Jenrry Mejia picked up the final three outs against his former organization to pick up the save.

Michael Chavis chalked up three hits (including a HR) and a walk in five plate appearances. Sandy Leon lined two singles in five at-bats. Bryce Brentz and Mike Miller each had a hit and three walks in five trips; Miller with a tater. Tzu-Wei Lin laced a single and drew a walk in five appearances. Cole Sturgeon struck a single in four treks. Tony Renda roped a 3-RBI double in the 10th, his only hit in five at-bats. Gorkys Hernandez and Josh Ockimey each took the collar, both going 0-for-5.

Thank you Cuzittt for doing this. After my first spring training trip, I have non-MLB fever, and I'm looking forward to my first trips to Lowell and Portland, and also to make final trips to 'bucket for the final season.

Kyle Hart allowed all four runs over six innings of work; giving up nine hits and a hit by pitch while whiffing eleven. Daniel McGrath struck out two in the seventh. Adam Lau whiffed a pair in th eighth. Zach Schellenger walked the bases loaded in the ninth, but got himself out of trouble without incident.

CJ Chatham and Brett Netzer each had one hit in four at-bats; Netzer with a double. Oscar Hernandez walked once in three opportunities. Josh Tobias was hit by a pitch in three trips. Jantzen Witte and Bobby Dalbec each drew a walk in four jaunts. Tate Matheny and Luke Tendler were unable to reach in three appearances. Aneury Tavarez went hitless in four treks.

Jagger Rusconi roped four singles in five jaunts. Jarren Duran hit two singles and a triple in five appearances before being replaced by Victor Acosta who flied out in his only venture. Ryan Fitzgerald flipped a single and a triple while drawing a walk in five forays before being replaced by Deiner Lopez, who drew a walk in the ninth. Tanner Nishioka notched a single, a double, and a hit by pitch in six trips. Nick Sciortino scorched a double and was hit by a pitch in five appearances. Garrett Benge, Marino Campana, Jerry Downs, and Nick Castellanos each had one hit in five matchups; Castellanos with a double, Campana with a dinger.
