In a season of lows, this quarter might be the worst. It must be a night game on the full moon late in the month, can't expect them to get up for it.

Jaylen passed up 3-pointers early, shots he's been making at a great clip, to put up awkward, contested shots in the lane.

They should not allow g-league teams to match up against NBA teams.

Playing Fournier so many minutes is asinine

I get they want to get him ready for the playoffs, but rushing him back without a minutes restriction is plain dumb

This team is not going to be fine. The playoffs start in weeks. I've accepted the quick playoff exit. Danny better make some big changes this off-season, because this roster ain't it.

Isn't this exactly why you sign Jabari Parker, so when the team can't buy a bucket, he can at least get something going? It's not like the defense can get much worse, Spurs are shooting 70% out there.

I'm wondering if he's hurt or something.

This flagrant 1 for contesting a shot, having your foot below someone shooting, and them landing on it is the dumbest rule in the NBA....and that's saying a lot.

It happens 40 times a game, it's totally unavailable if you contest a shot. It only comes up when the offensive player happens to land on someone's foot but it's entirely random when that happens.

The only time it should be considered for flagrant is if you obviously just stick your foot out. But not when its just a normal defensive basketball effort/contest.

You definitely shouldn't get the basket, two free throws and then possession.

It happens on nearly every contested jump shot, especially fall aways. There is no way to contest without jumping up and towards the player at least a little bit, and you can't chop off your feet mid air. They have to land somewhere.

Most of the time nothing happens because the shooter lands just fine. It's totally random when someone turns an ankle, then all of a sudden it's some egregious foul/possible 6 point play. Ridiculous.

I'm too lazy to look it up, but I wouldn't be surprised if Stevens' winning percentage against San Antonio is his lowest among any C's opponent.

Interesting contrast between how these two coaches have implemented the way they want their teams to play. One team executes over and over again, and the other team looks like the players just met a minute before tipoff

Time to come to terms with the fact that these guys have no chance at making noise in the playoffs. Christ they might not even make it.
